You don’t really get into it
Plot
Anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers that have garnered public attention and notoriety. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says that Ryan Murphy [Creator] had one rule they had to follow leading up to the series: never tell it from Dahmer’s perspective. “As an audience, you don’t really feel it. You just look at it, you know, from the outside.” In many episodes, 3M Command(TM) tape is seen in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment, which is set no later than 1991. 3M released the first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996.
Starring: Jeremy Vine: Episode #5,195 (2022)
It was a tough watch… for a number of reasons. As a young adult when all of this happened,… what would the kids say?… it had a different effect.
Well, that’s Dahmer’s story
So it’s heavy, rough, and scary by default. The acting is top-notch. Every performance… it’s like you’re in the room watching this horrific sequence of events unfold in real time. How the actors experienced it is beyond me.
it’s probably the best portrayal of Dahmer
The chronological changes are a little hard to follow. It’s not the kind of thing where you can pause and come back. You have to rewind or start the episode over. Overall… I recommend the movie “My Best Friend Dahmer” before watching this, because it serves as a prequel, and it’s appropriate.
I recommend it for a cast-iron stomach
Don’t watch this if you’re prone to vomiting.
